On July 28th Cabo de Peñas received the Galicia Calidade certification. The event was held at CONNORSA’s facilities and it was the First Vice President and Minister of Economy, Industry and Innovation of the Xunta de Galicia, Francisco Conde, who presented the seal to the General Manager and President of CONNORSA, Félix Conde.
During his visit to the facilities in Vilaboa, Conde emphasized, among other things, that Cabo de Peñas, a brand with more than 120 years of history, combines the values of Galician canneries, tradition and innovation.
The Cabo de Peñas brand has a wide range of canned fish and seafood of excellent quality that are marketed not only nationally but also internationally. It is for this reason, among others, that the vice president highlighted in his speech the commitment of this brand with the industrial fabric of the region and employment, with the sustainability and traceability of seafood products, always betting on excellence and quality of raw materials.
In addition, the event was attended by Manuel Heredia, general director of Trade and Consumer Affairs of the Xunta de Galicia, Ana Méndez, general director of Galicia Calidade and Cesar Pozas, mayor of the City Council of Vilaboa.
